About Us
The Bitterroot Bird Alliance is a local chapter of the National Audubon Society located in the Bitterroot Valley of western Montana. We support the National Audubon Society’s mission to conserve and restore natural ecosystems, focusing on birds, other wildlife, and their habitats for the benefit of humanity and earth’s biological diversity.
We accomplish this mission by:
- Offering educational programs and field trips for Chapter members and the general public.
- Advocating political and personal actions that promote the conservation of wildlife and their habitats.
- Cooperating with the National Audubon Society and Montana Audubon on national and state-wide endeavors, as well as local conservation-oriented projects.
